There is nothing that David cannot help with, from beginners (my starting point) right through to the most experienced guitarist. I learned so much and in such a short time. David is a terrific guitar teacher - patient, detailed and supportive. Within a short space of time, I've gone from not even knowing how to hold a guitar to being able to pick simple melodies (that my kids love!) and strum some nice sounding chords. I really appreciate that he works with my favourite music choices in mind when taking me through each stage of learning. David is also understanding - e.g. when work has been hectic or my kids have been sick, resulting in me struggling to attend lessons in person, David has facilitated lessons by Skype at short notice and sent through TAB sheets as photos to prevent me falling behind. I would recommend him to anyone!.

I am a complete newcomer to the world of the guitar, however it has been something that I have wanted to do for many years, but have always lacked the confidence. My wife bought me a guitar for Christmas and a tuition book. After the first two pages it seemed so complicated that I wondered if I would be able to go any further, so I decided to give private lessons a go. After my first meeting with David, he not only boosted my confidence, but also fired my enthusiasm and passion for the guitar further. He simplifies the lessons so much that I learnt more in the first four lessons with him than I ever imagined.

I have just started guitar lessons with David and it has been a very enjoyable experience. He is very patient and adapts the lessons to your playing ability. Starting from scratch I thought it would be a long time before I could play anything, but after the first lesson I was already playing something that was in tune and in time.
